Site inductions applies to everyone working on site, not only our personnel but also subcontractors and independent contractors.
YIT’s goal is to be a zero-accident working community.
This requires that everyone takes responsibility and commits to safe work. It is also important to pay attention to what happens around us and intervene in potential neglect – in this manner, we take care of the health and safety of our colleagues.
It is everyone’s right and obligation to receive and complete orientation to his/her work. Carefully prepared and conducted orientation provides sufficient basic information about our tasks and the ability to work safely and prevents personal injuries and material and environmental damage. Orientation also creates the preconditions for well-being and co-operation in the working community and environment.
