Pikksilma promenade and shoreline protection
Pikksilma promenade allows users to enjoy nice sea weather and beautiful views to the Gulf of Tallinn. There are seating terraces, a walking and cycling path, and a rubber-covered running track on the promenade.
To protect the waves, a shore protection was built on the promenade.
The length of Pikksilma promenade is 100 m and its width is 15 metres. The mainland area of Estonia increased by about 1,000 m2 with the construction of the promenade.
