A connecting road between Järvevana Road and Tehnika Street was built as part of the Ülemiste junction. A pit was excavated, followed by constructing a circular road at the bottom, supporting walls on the sides and 2 railway overpasses above the pit. The water flowing down from Lake Ülemiste was collected using drain and rainwater pipes and guided through micro tunnelling pipes via Kadriorg to Tallinn Bay.
